This listing is for a two room style nesting box with no floor. Two room nesting boxes offer some extra cover and suclusion. Typically eggs are laid in the back room only. This style of box is perfered many species of wild waterfowl. This box can also be used for domestic ducks and poultry.
At Mallard Lane Farms this is our prefered box for all of our ground nesting wild waterfowl, we also use it for many of our call ducks.

- Our boxes are white which naturally keeps them cooler than darker colored boxes. This can help keep the hen comfortable during hot weather, and can reduce loss of eggs due to over heating.
