Here at Mallard Lane Farms we keep the Red Golden, Lady Amherst, Reeves and Silver Pheasants. Not only are theses some of the most beautiful pheasant species they are also some of the easiest to keep and raise. These birds can be kept in an aviary that contains waterfowl. Amherst, Goldens, Silvers and Reeves, are first year fertile, but the males do not get their full color until their second spring.
